Our client, a leading organization in enterprise performance management and analytics, is seeking an Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) / Essbase Administrator to join their team. As an Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) / Essbase Administrator, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting Hyperion/EPM and Oracle Analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) / Essbase Administrator
Location: 401 North Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion
Experience Required: 7+ Years
Pay rate: $60 - $65/hr on W2
Only Local candidate needed to onsite for day 1. 

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), Hyperion/EPM, and Essbase Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise analytics and performance management platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Hyperion/EPM 11.x, Essbase 21c, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with hands-on experience in installation, configuration, migrations, security, automation, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Essbase / Hyperion EPM Administration

  • Administer Oracle Essbase and Hyperion EPM 11.x environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Install, configure, and maintain standalone Essbase and full EPM stack deployments.
  • Support BSO and ASO cubes, outlines, data loads, calculations, aggregations, and performance optimization.
  • Perform system monitoring, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, and routine maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain MaxL scripts for automation, administration, and operational tasks.
  • Manage integrations with Oracle ADW, ATP, Oracle Databases, SQL Server, and third-party data sources.
Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Administration
  • Provision, configure, scale, and manage Oracle Analytics Cloud environments.
  • Perform OAC lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and service migrations.
  • Administer OCI tenancy, compartments, IAM, IDCS, SSO, and security configurations.
  • Manage user roles, group-based security, catalog permissions, and access controls.
  • Implement and maintain object-level, row-level, and column-level security policies.
  • Configure data connections to Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle DB, OCI Object Storage, SQL Server, and other enterprise data sources.
Migration & Performance Optimization
  • Migrate RPDs from OBIEE/Classic BI to OAC.
  • Manage semantic model deployments, version control, consistency checks, and impact analysis.
  • Tune logical table sources and optimize query performance.
  • Troubleshoot slow dashboards, reports, and long-running queries.
  • Configure caching, query acceleration, workload management, and concurrency optimization.
Content & Environment Management
  • Manage OAC catalog structures, folder standards, and dashboard/report migrations.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies using snapshots.
  • Archive obsolete content and monitor dashboard utilization.
  • Ensure platform stability, security, and compliance adherence.
OCI Infrastructure & Security
  • Manage OCI compute instances, storage, backups, restores, and networking components.
  • Configure SSL, IAM, SSO, and secure wallet/credential management.
  • Support cloud infrastructure operations and security best practices.

  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Essbase Calc Scripts and MaxL scripting.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database (12c/19c).
  • Experience integrating OID, LDAP, and Microsoft Active Directory (MSAD).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM solutions.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
