About this opportunity :

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the field management of the facilities staff in carrying out the maintenance and repair of the physical plant, equipment and systems, and in providing service and support to all departments. Oversees facility repairs and contributes in the area of budget and facilities planning, and management of contractors and outside agencies. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Attend and participate in various operational management meetings. 
  • Manage the facilities group, including preparing annual Job Performance Reviews and oversight of day to day activities of the direct reports. 
  • Keep the facility and related systems operating in a safe, and as applicable, in a cGMP compliant condition; includes but is not limited to: HVAC, highly purified water system, landscaping, waste disposal, utilities, security system, etc. 
  • Work with QA to address internal audit and client audit findings. 
  • Work with EH&S representatives to administer on site safety program.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary certifications to allow you to ship hazardous materials and operate fork truck. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree, or specific courses, training and experience in building trades and facilities management. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a group leader or Facilities supervisory role. 
  • Ability to diagnose problems with plant equipment and systems. 
  • Working knowledge of cGMP and SHE regulations, and thorough understanding of safe work practices. 
  • Management skills essential to group leadership. 
  • Sufficient written and verbal communication skills. 

The annualized salary range for this position is between $97,100.00 - $118,800.00.
