Job description

About Pantheon

Pantheon brings together exceptional builders who take ownership, drive meaningful impact, and shape what's next for the web. We power more than 300,000 websites globally for organizations including Google, Princeton, Salesloft, Clorox, and the United Nations. Every day, thousands of developers and marketers use our WebOps platform to build, iterate, and scale WordPress, Drupal, and Next.js sites that reach billions of people worldwide. As an employer, we operate with the same philosophy that drives our product: foundation and freedom. Pantheon is a vibrant, remote-forward team of experts who care deeply about their craft and results. Here, you take ownership of work that matters, contribute alongside exceptional people, and see the impact you create.

The Role

Own the Next.js Platform at the intersection of developer experience, enterprise operations, and platform intelligence. Define success, set strategy, and co-author our roadmap. You'll serve two buyers: the enterprise portfolio manager who signs and the developers who build-and make both thrive.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Define strategy and identify high-leverage opportunities for a complex product area.
  • Synthesize user research, market analysis, and competitive intelligence to drive product decisions.
  • Navigate dual-buyer dynamics: portfolio managers and developers with equal fluency.
  • Define success metrics that connect platform performance to business outcomes.
  • Drive a step change in product performance and team effectiveness.
  • Communicate strategy and progress with clarity to all stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Table
  • 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in product management.
  • Track record taking products through full lifecycle from strategy to launch and iteration.
  • Deep Next.js fluency: App Router, React Server Components, ISR, edge middleware, deployment models.
  • Experience with developer-facing platform products: hosting, infrastructure tooling, or developer cloud services.
  • Proven ability to navigate enterprise buying dynamics and influence cross-functional strategy.
  • Strong data analysis skills; translate complex signals into product decisions at scale.
  • Preferred: Experience at Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare, or similar platforms; familiarity with AI tools and autonomous systems.
What We Offer

We have all the usual perks and benefits but what we can really offer you is a fantastic work environment powered by an amazing team.

  • Industry competitive compensation and equity plan
  • Flexible time off, sick days, and 13 paid holidays
  • Comprehensive medical insurance including Health, Dental and Vision
  • Paid parental leave (plus fertility, adoption and other family planning benefits)
  • In-office workspace (San Francisco & Chicago)
  • Monthly allowance for wellness, reading and access to LinkedIn Learning for continued development
  • Events and activities both team-based and company wide that inspire, educate and cultivate
