Confidential Family Law Paralegal / Case Manager

Location: Sudbury, MA area
Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days in office / 1 day remote
Type: Permanent opportunity
Compensation: $100-115K base salary 

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal / Case Manager to support four attorneys and manage a large, active caseload in a fast-paced family law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong communication skills, exceptional organization, and the ability to keep cases moving efficiently while delivering a high level of client service.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressive family law paralegal experience and a proven track record managing a substantial caseload. Experience with MyCase, drafting and redlining documents, e-filing with the courts, and preparing attorneys to be court-ready is required. Candidates must also have experience with 401 and 410 financial disclosure forms and be able to proactively manage case flow, client communication, and day-to-day case management with a white-glove approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support four attorneys with day-to-day case management and legal administrative needs.

  • Manage a large caseload, including over 120 active matters, while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

  • Draft, redline, and prepare legal documents and correspondence related to family law matters.

  • Prepare attorneys for hearings, conferences, and court appearances to ensure they are court-ready.

  • E-file pleadings and other required documents with the courts.

  • Manage case calendars and work attorney schedules two weeks out to ensure all matters are properly serviced.

  • Prepare and manage 401 and 410 financial disclosure forms.

  • Proactively communicate with clients and provide exceptional, white-glove service throughout the case lifecycle.

  • Coordinate and conduct in-office client meetings.

  • Streamline workflows and help improve overall case management efficiency.

  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all deadlines, filings, and client needs are handled promptly.

Position Requirements
  • 8+ years of progressive family law paralegal experience required.

  • Experience managing a large, active caseload.

  • Strong knowledge of family law procedures, court filings, and legal documentation.

  • Experience with 401 and 410 financial disclosure forms.

  • Proficiency with MyCase strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Paralegal certificate a plus.
