We're looking for a skilled and motivated Design Technician to join our multidisciplinary team in Kalispell, Montana.
This is more than a drafting position. It's an opportunity to collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, clients, contractors, and communities to help shape projects that make a lasting impact. From schools and healthcare facilities to commercial developments, hospitality projects, multifamily housing, and community spaces, your work will help transform ideas into reality.

What You'll Do:
As a Design Technician, you'll play an important role in helping project teams deliver high-quality, coordinated, and efficient design solutions.
Design & Model Development
You'll help transform project concepts into detailed digital models that support every phase of design and construction.
  • Provide design and drafting support with Autodesk Revit & Civil 3D models across architectural, structural, civil, and MEP disciplines.
  • Create accurate project models, drawings, and documentation.
  • Support project teams through planning, design, and construction phases.
  • Maintain organized project files and model standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Project Delivery & Technical Support
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to help projects move from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and consultants throughout the design process.
  • Provide Autodesk Revit technical support to project team members.
  • Assist with troubleshooting modeling challenges and coordination issues.
  • Participate in project reviews and coordination meeting
  • Help teams deliver projects that meet client expectations and project goals.

Quality & Continuous Improvement
You'll help strengthen the processes and standards that support successful project delivery.
  • Participate in QA/QC procedures to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
  • Contribute to BIM/CAD standards and best practices.
  • Support company-wide initiatives focused on efficiency, consistency, and innovation.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and industry trends.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who enjoys both the technical and team-oriented aspects of design.
You may be a great fit if you have:
  • An Associate's Degree (AA or AAS) in BIM/CAD or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of two years of Autodesk Revit and/or Civil 3D drafting and design experience in architectural, structural, Civil, or MEP environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team.
  • A commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary design environments.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards and model coordination workflows.
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, or related software platforms.
  • A passion for helping teams improve design quality and production efficiency.
