At Park City Credit Union, our mission is to help our members fulfill their dreams while serving our communities. As a Mortgage Specialist, you'll play a key role in helping members achieve homeownership and other financial goals by providing expert guidance and exceptional service throughout the mortgage lending process.
The Mortgage Specialist proactively solicits new residential and commercial mortgage business and sells Park City Credit Union products and services to members in accordance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and all applicable federal and state regulations. This position is responsible for meeting established loan quality and production goals while delivering an exceptional member experience.
The Mortgage Specialist interviews mortgage applicants, analyzes financial and credit information, and guides members through the lending process from application through closing. This role maintains expertise in lending programs, underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and mortgage products while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and professional service.
This position actively develops new mortgage lending opportunities through referrals, networking, community outreach, and relationship-building activities. The Mortgage Specialist is responsible for ongoing development and maintenance of quality relationships with real estate professionals, contractors, builders, attorneys, and other referral partners throughout Park City Credit Union's market area.

Build and maintain strong relationships with members, business partners, community organizations, and referral sources. Represent Park City Credit Union through active participation in community events, networking opportunities, volunteer activities, financial education efforts, and business development initiatives that strengthen our community presence and support organizational growth.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of conventional mortgage lending, mortgage processing, or related experience required.
  • Experience working with secondary market mortgage products and programs.
  • Thorough understanding of residential mortgage products and lending practices.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and business development skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and organization.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional member service and maintaining professional ethics.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration number.
