Job description

Team Red Dog is hiring an AI Product & Program Manager - Minecraft for our client, a global technology leader and AI-driven technology organization, supporting cutting-edge AI initiatives within the Minecraft ecosystem. This hybrid (Redmond) role blends product management, AI enablement, and workflow optimization-driving adoption of modern AI tools, coordinating cross-functional development, and supporting scalable AI-powered experiences such as recommendations, search, and content creation. You'll operate across product, internal tooling, and education initiatives, helping teams integrate AI into real-world workflows while partnering closely with engineering and platform teams. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape how AI is embedded across a globally recognized gaming platform.
Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
  1. Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and workflows (e.g., LLMs, agentic systems, multi-step automation), including practical application in product or internal tooling environments
  2. Product and project management expertise, including managing roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional delivery in technical environments
  3. Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, with experience working across engineering, product, and business teams to drive adoption and alignment
  4. Experience supporting or building AI-driven features such as recommendations, search, or workflow automation tools

Opportunity Overview:
This role sits at the center of a rapidly evolving AI transformation effort within one of the most recognizable gaming platforms in the world. You'll contribute across three core pillars-AI product development, internal enablement, and workflow optimization-helping scale AI adoption while supporting both end-user experiences and internal efficiencies. The position offers strong exposure to emerging AI capabilities, cross-functional leadership, and the opportunity to influence how AI is operationalized at scale.
How you will make an impact:
• Support AI initiatives across product, enablement, and internal workflow pillars
• Act as a liaison for strategic partnerships (e.g., GitHub), coordinating across teams to support AI-driven development
• Contribute to AI-powered product features including marketplace recommendations, search, and content discovery
• Assist in scaling AI enablement efforts, including coordinating training sessions and driving adoption of AI tools
• Help prototype and support internal AI tools to improve team efficiency and workflows
• Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Partner with engineering and product teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Facilitate testing, validation, and rollout of AI-enabled features and tools
The expertise you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• 2-4 years of experience in product or project management within technology environments
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and current tools, with hands-on experimentation or application
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering technical solutions
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
• PMP or PMI certification preferred
What makes a candidate highly successful in this role:
Candidates who thrive in this role demonstrate genuine curiosity and hands-on engagement with modern AI tools, going beyond surface-level understanding to actively experiment and build. They bring a balanced, practical perspective on AI capabilities, understanding both opportunities and limitations, and can translate that into meaningful product or workflow improvements. A strong candidate also shows initiative through side projects or applied experience, along with the ability to connect technical possibilities with real business impact.
