  • Team Mentorship: Mentor and assist in the professional development of junior engineers and designers on power systems fundamentals.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE/ANSI standards, NERC/FERC regulations, ISO/RSO rules, utility interconnection requirements, and client guidelines.

Engineering & Design
  • Power Systems Design: Design and draft complex electrical systems, including low- and medium-voltage power distribution (480V up to 15kV/35kV class), generation integration (BESS, Solar PV, Generators), and critical facility switchgear.
  • Advanced Modeling: Utilize CAD and Revit to create comprehensive construction documents, single-line diagrams, and physical layouts for industrial energy infrastructure.
  • Power System Studies: Perform detailed electrical calculations and Power System Studies utilizing SKM or ETAP, including:
  • Short-Circuit and Equipment Evaluation
  • Protective Device Time-Current Coordination
  • Arc-Flash Hazard Analysis
  • Equipment Specification: Develop detailed specifications for major electrical equipment, including current-limiting fuses, power transformers, switchgear, and protective relays.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct detailed field investigations of existing industrial facility electrical systems to evaluate capacity and interconnection feasibility.

Stakeholder & Utility Relations
  • Interface Management: Directly interface with asset owners, electric utilities, cross-functional engineering leads, procurement teams, and construction crews to ensure project milestones and interconnection requirements are met.
  • Collaborative Alignment: Work seamlessly within an interdisciplinary engineering team to maintain standardized design blocks and engineering best practices.

Construction & Commissioning Support
