Your skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician, Server Technician, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of servers, switches, storage systems, and enterprise-level hardware
  • Experience supporting structured project deployments is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites if required
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Linux, and standard enterprise tools
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols
  • Strong communication skills and professional client interaction
  • This role is an Hourly Non-Exempt position with a targeted salary range of $26 - $33 USD based on experience and skillsets.
Your tasks
Hemmersbach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Technician at an L2 level to join our team. As an Onsite Technician, you will provide technical support to our clients at their location, working with data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support onsite to our clients at their location, with a focus on data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for data centers, servers, and other peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, switches, and storage systems
- Participate in project rollouts and deployments, working with data centers and other enterprise-level IT infrastructure
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed based on customer demand
