 JOB SUMMARY:

 Skarda Equipment, a division of Certified Power Equipment, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager - Fluid Power to manage and grow an established customer portfolio by providing sales and technical support for industry-leading fluid power and automation products throughout the Wichita, KS territory. This role offers a strong training program, long-term career growth opportunities, and the potential to advance into a future leadership position. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate competitive, results-driven sales skills with a strong determination to succeed.
  • Manage an existing portfolio of active customer accounts, delivering both sales and technical support for industry-leading vendor products.
  • Oversee and grow an established sales territory and drive measurable growth through consistent effort and performance.
  • Develop, strengthen, and expand business relationships with customers and vendor partners.
  • Operate from a home-based office while conducting frequent direct sales and support calls.
  • Provide business-to-business sales solutions to purchasing teams, engineering staff, maintenance personnel, and industrial safety professionals.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales team members, maintaining clear, timely, and efficient communication.   
     

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  •  2-5 years of industrial sales experience; bachelor's degree or associate degree in a mechanical/technical field preferred.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and apply technical concepts.
  • Strong active listening skills with keen attention to detail to ensure clear and accurate client communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and overall strong computer literacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and self-motivation to stay focused and productive while working remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer and vendor sites as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
