Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. The Medication Technician will be responsible for assisting in the administration of medications to residents/patients in a safe and effective manner, ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

    • dminister medications to residents/patients as prescribed, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • A
    • ssist in the preparation and documentation of medication administration, ensuring accuracy in dosage and timing.
  • M
    • onitor and report any side effects or adverse reactions to medications to the appropriate healthcare personnel.

    • aintain proper medication storage, keeping the environment clean, organized, and secure.

    • upport healthcare staff in maintaining up-to-date medication records and resident charts.

    • articipate in medication management meetings and contribute to care plans as needed.
