Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales of our high-quality surgical sutures in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical device sales, a strong understanding of the surgical industry, and a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships. This role requires frequent travel within an assigned territory to meet with healthcare professionals, hospital procurement teams, and surgical staff.


Responsibilities

  • This role requires frequent travel within an assigned territory to meet with healthcare professionals, hospital procurement teams, and surgical staff
  • Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, hospital procurement personnel, and other key decision-makers
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the benefits and applications of our surgical sutures through in-person meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
  • Provide product training and support to hospital staff to ensure proper usage and adoption of our sutures
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and sales best practices
  • Maintain accurate sales records and submit reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends



Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in medical device sales, a strong understanding of the surgical industry, and a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
  • 2+ years of experience in medical sales, preferably in surgical devices, sutures, or related medical supplies
  • Strong understanding of the surgical environment and hospital purchasing processes
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 75%)
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel as required
  • Existing relationships within the surgical or hospital network
  • Certification or training in medical device sales
