About Brightniq Academy

Brightniq Academy provides interactive, skill-building enrichment programs that go beyond standard textbooks. We focus on critical thinking, practical life skills, and real-world confidence, serving students from Elementary (K–6) through higher grades.

We are seeking dynamic, passionate, and self-motivated educators to deliver high-quality instruction for small-group classes and private 1-on-1 sessions as independent contractors.

Subject Areas

We are looking for contractors who specialize in one or more of the following fields:

  • Language Arts (Reading & Writing): Guiding students in reading comprehension, vocabulary expansion, creative writing, and structured essay development.
  • Math & Logic Enrichment: Teaching hands-on problem-solving, visual math, and critical thinking skills.
  • Spanish Language: Fostering real conversational fluency, interactive speaking confidence, and practical everyday language skills.
  • Life Coaching & Social Skills: Empowering young leaders with self-advocacy, teamwork, emotional intelligence, boundary-setting, and peer-pressure resilience.

Core Responsibilities & Scope of Work

  • Plan and deliver engaging, interactive instruction for small-group classes or 1-on-1 sessions.
  • Adapt learning objectives to fit diverse student needs and skill levels.
  • Maintain a structured, positive, and safe learning environment.
  • Provide occasional updates on student progress to parents or management as needed.

Curriculum & Teaching Autonomy

Instructors will have access to course frameworks and core objectives, while retaining the creative autonomy to design interactive lessons, activities, and supplementary materials that best engage their students. Experienced educators looking to implement their own proven methods and lesson plans are welcome!

Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students (K–6 experience preferred; experience with middle/high school grades is a plus).
  • Strong subject-matter expertise or degree in Education, English, Mathematics, Spanish, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and group management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.

Benefits of Contracting with Us

  • Competitive hourly contractor pay.
  • Flexible part-time schedule based on class availability.
  • Small class sizes that allow for meaningful student impact and creative teaching freedom.
  • Opportunities to expand course offerings as our program grows into higher grade levels.
