The Executive Director, Value & Access Solutions will provide strategic direction to the Payor Solutions, Health Informatics and Above brand marketing teams. They are responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and tactics to optimize BI's presence and promote sales growth in the Payor & HS channel across the BI portfolio. This individual will partner closely with Value & Access marketing therapeutic area (TA) focused teams to assist in providing solutions and pull through that meet the ever-evolving customer landscape.

The ED will accomplish this through the following key areas:

Enabling pull through of the access created by the value & access marketing teams to meet revenue targets.
Leading the team that drives Payor Experience and pull/push-through strategies through the National Account Teams, Regional Account teams and Federal Account Teams.
Providing strategic direction and oversite for the team that leads the development, deployment, and measurement of Health Informatics and Electronic Health Record (EHR) strategies and tactics designed to expand and improve BI's Health System approach, activity, and sales growth across BI's full product portfolio.
Designing and driving the Above Brand Solutions (ABS) Solutions strategy, plan and execution for both payor and health systems.

This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead all national portfolio pull-through initiatives, and provide support and guidance to all commercial account teams.
  • Provide direction and guidance for the Architecture of the HS Health Informatics/EHR strategy; ensuring that the organization is operating and contributing at its highest level.
  • Serve as liaison across Business Units for Health Informatics/EHR related issues to inform and provide insights.
  • Guide and prioritize internal/external capability opportunities to advance organizational ability to successfully execute pull/push-through strategies. Capabilities include digital tools, internal execution platforms, incentives, training and other key components of pull-through execution.
  • Champion new solutions to advance the organizational capability across the organization.
  • Oversee all unbranded materials and programs for targeted Payors & HS providers across the portfolio. Efforts with these entities include unique and daily customer business engagements, HEOR study communication and training, adherence programs, conventions, POA meeting planning and execution, sales training, market research, and Sales and KEE advisory boards. Support includes program development, materials development and deployment using personal and non personal channels.
  • Define measurement, strategy and metrics across all areas of the organization (TA Franchises, other value & access team, A&I & HP Operations, Support Functions).
  • Define, track and report operational metrics.
  • Assess and deploy the Payor & HS Maturity models appropriate for BI and ensure that the final measurement plan is simple but actionable.
  • Deliver โ€˜Above Brandโ€™ Solutions (ABS) Strategy and associated initiatives/ materials.
  • Reach across Therapeutic Areas and Payors to gain alignment for how above brand strategies and initiatives fit in with the customer experience and offerings BI aspires to create while creating opportunities to drive brand and BI priorities.
  • Recruit, hire, train, direct, coach, develop, and motivate team regarding specific knowledge, skills, processes, and procedures.
  • Create a performance-based team culture with clear accountability and a sense of urgency for achieving results.
  • Manage budgets to maximize customer experiences and revenue.
  • Turn vision into operational plans; identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights. Ability to turn vision into operational plans.
  • Deep understanding of Payor & HS space with ability to provide thought leadership when called upon.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end Payor & HS customer effectiveness.
  • Up-to-date with the key industry trends/ leading practices to help solve complex and emerging challenges and opportunities in engaging with healthcare systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • 10 - 12 years of successful management/leadership level sales and/or marketing experience, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of the US marketplace, demonstrated experience in Payor/Organized Customers (Health Systems) space
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change management required
  • Ability to establish a strategic vision/direction, develop innovative solutions to execute vision across internal and external customers
  • Exceptional influence without authority skills
  • Demonstrated thorough understanding of U.S. Healthcare System (public and private sector providers, payers, influencers) as well as a thorough understanding of customer and industry contracting practices and trends
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including the ability to communicate recommendations convincingly (written, oral, presentation)
  • Business experience/acumen with demonstrated planning, implementation, creativity and organizational skills

The base salary range for this position is $250,000 to $394,00. The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements. We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future.
