Description
Provide classroom and lab instruction for various subjects related to Massage Therapy. The instructor will provide instruction in therapeutic massage. The instructor will be responsible for the delivery of information provided in lesson plans including lecture and demonstration through hands-on techniques and clinical lab experiences. The instructor will present qualifications as required by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy. In conjunction with the direct supervisor, evaluate and improve program quality; stay abreast of applicable regulations applied to the industry; complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Salary: $20.00 per hour.
Start Date: August 1, 2024.
Closing Date: Open until filled.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed in Massage & Bodywork Therapy (LMBT) or licensed in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic or Nursing, and have 2 years of professional experience, required. Prior teaching experience and an Associates Degree or higher, preferred.
