Job description

Overview

Northwest is seeking a creative, highly organized Brand Coordinator to create impact across our Family of Brands and support efforts that drive revenue, growth, and overall brand awareness. You may have been considered a jack of all trades before, which drove your big ideas, initiative, and desire to make a difference on the projects you supported. In this role, your versatility will enhance multiple marketing communications initiatives. You will support our Family of Brands through content creation, campaign execution, project management, social media, events, communications, and brand initiatives. Success in this role requires creativity, initiative, strong time management skills, and a passion for seeing a project or idea come to life.


Responsibilities

You look for innovative, creative ways to grow brand recognition and awareness, create internal and external “Customers for Life”, and develop messages that keep people and the ‘why’ first. You enjoy working across departments to proactively make each project you lead and assist a success, helping to develop the message and materials that create impact. Developing brand materials and content and being able to seamlessly manage projects to completion will be a large focus for the Brand Coordinator position.


With this role, you’ll enjoy the variety that a marketing communications position offers, so your day-to-day may include but is not limited to:

Campaign Execution & Lead Generation

  • Execute and optimize marketing communications campaigns from concept through launch and reporting
  • Maintain and execute key strategies to grow and acquire external customers
  • Assist with direct marketing, newsletters, email marketing, creative requests and other marketing aspects to generate more leads and brand awareness for each location
  • Participate in brainstorm and ideation sessions; develop and bring to life the great ideas from these meetings
  • Participate in tradeshow and event planning and in the development of new lead strategies
  • Assist with tracking and reporting industry trends and various marketing activities

Content & Social Media Marketing

  • Coordinate, develop, and/or execute digital content, ad creation, and content calendars
  • Create, edit, and refine marketing and business development copy across multiple channels
  • Assist with social media content and advertising efforts
  • Develop social media creative, including video and photo assets

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate multiple marketing projects simultaneously across the Family of Brands
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, approvals, and project rollouts
  • Maintain campaign / content calendars
  • Ensure projects continue to move forward from concept through completion

 

Brand Communications & Support

  • Assist the marketing and communications needs of our Family of Brands to grow and support each location
  • Assist with the creation of branded materials – flyers, leave behinds, etc. – with brand designer
  • Support brand meetings and initiatives

 

Administrative & Team Support

  • Assist with day-to-day marketing administrative tasks, not limited to reporting, inventory management, and invoicing
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Additional

  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with internal and external customers to create "Customers for Life."
  • Support all efforts to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and marketing projects of Northwest and all subsidiaries
  • Assist with Communications and Public Relations needs, including press releases, articles, website updates, and internal and external announcements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to assist with brand management and marketing of Northwest Exterminating or our other brands

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous agency experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to think strategically/big picture
  • Self-motivated and enjoys working both on a team and independently
  • Quick learner who isn’t afraid to ask questions, own their tasks, and develop the role
  • Experience developing presentations, including PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.
  • Experience developing, with a graphic designer, creative pieces for print and digital marketing initiatives
  • Superb organizational skills with attention to detail. Able to do things accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to attend to multiple requests simultaneously and work in a deadline driven environment
  • Enjoys solving problems and consistently elevating their work
  • Able to pass a drug screen
  • Associates degree or two years college or technical school or equivalent in work experience

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years related experience within a Marketing Communications role; agency experience preferred
  • Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of marketing communications concepts that drive business, lead generation, and build brand awareness
  • Creative experience developing brand materials
  • Strong project support experience
  • Experience taking initiative to elevate any project given pass the initial request
