Advertising Policy Project Manager

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates near hubs in NY, RI, MA, PA, or IL)
Duration: 6-month contract (possibility of extension or conversion)
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM ET


About the Role

Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Advertising Policy Project Manager to support the development, communication, and enforcement of advertising policies across digital marketing and media programs.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Legal, Creative, and Privacy teams to ensure advertising campaigns align with CVS brand standards and CMX’s policy requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound requests and questions related to advertising policies.

  • Draft, communicate, and maintain advertising policies, ensuring consistent application across teams.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Creative, and Privacy teams to ensure compliance.

  • Research advertising policy best practices across retail and healthcare industries.

  • Measure and report on the efficiency and impact of policy request pipelines.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased transparency.

  • Support decision-making through clear written communication and policy documentation.

  • Enforce compliance with CVS’s advertising standards and ethical guidelines.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, policy analysis, compliance, or advertising governance.

  • Experience with Workfront or JIRA (minimum 2 years) for managing workflows, requests, or project tracking.

  • Strong written communication skills with proven experience drafting policies or stakeholder communications.

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

  • Ability to work EST hours.

  • Reliable internet connection and quiet remote work environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with advertising compliance, privacy regulations, or brand governance.

  • Experience supporting or enforcing marketing/advertising policies in large organizations.

  • Familiarity with digital media operations, campaign approval workflows, or marketing technology tools.

Remote – with a preference for candidates located near one of the following hubs in case of future onsite needs:
