The ideal candidate is ambitious, autonomous, professional and eager to help turn high level strategic ideas into action. As a member of our growing consulting team, you won’t just be watching the health care landscape change; you’ll be actively helping shape client strategy at all levels of the health system. This hybrid Consultant role, based in our Toronto office, is designed for an individual with proven experience in the health care sector who is ready to provide comprehensive service to a breadth of clients.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing project management plans and keeping the project team focused on meeting multiple, tight timelines
  • Creating a wide range of slide decks, briefing notes, and other communication materials
  • Being a trusted support for clients as part of ongoing advisory and project management responsibilities
  • Tracking and researching emerging health system trends and analyzing their implications to client organizations 
  •  Identifying key stakeholders and creating tailored stakeholder maps and engagement plans 
  • Assisting in the execution of stakeholder engagement plans, including with interviews, focus groups, surveys, facilitation sessions and other engagement tactics  
  • Assisting on development of proposals and identifying business development opportunities
  • Participating in client strategy sessions, partnering with health sector leaders to brainstorm, map out, and drive their long-term vision
  • Participating in the continued development of internal products and processes related to public policy and management consulting business
  • Working collaboratively with the Santis team and cultivating strong peer relationships across government affairs, communications, digital health, and life sciences verticals 


A Great Candidate Would Have a Combination of These Skills and Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree in health sciences, policy, business, or related field.
  • Minimum two years of related work experience, with previous consulting  experience preferred.
  • Experience developing and executing on projects, adhering to quality, time and budget standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and problem solve in the face of uncertainty. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work  with multiple stakeholders, internal and external clients. 
  • Strong skills in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the Google Suite.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows, while maintaining a strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and the importance of fact-checking and human review.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the delivery of slides and presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills – ability to juggle multiple clients and projects and competing deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Skilled in priority-setting, efficient time-management and working independently.
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism.
