The Senior Manager of Market Intelligence Insights Consulting plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise Share reporting, syndicated data governance, and business adoption across the organization. This leader partners with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and local markets to deliver trusted, standardized, and actionable market share intelligence that informs decision-making and strengthens Walmart's competitive advantage. The role combines syndicated data expertise, business consulting, data governance support, and stakeholder management to drive measurable business impact.

The team partners closely with executive stakeholders and cross-functional groups to deliver reliable, standardized, and actionable market and competitive intelligence. This intelligence supports strategic decision-making and strengthens Walmart’s competitive position. Leveraging expertise in business strategies, consulting, data analysis, and customer insights, the team drives impactful solutions across various business areas. They provide consultative guidance to senior leadership, ensuring alignment on research and analysis methods. Committed to continuous learning and development, the team fosters high performance and effective collaboration to address evolving business needs and objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Driving execution and cross-functional alignment to deliver Enterprise Share priorities, milestones, and business outcomes
  • Partnering with business teams, Product, Technology, local markets, and external data providers to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver trusted market intelligence solutions that meet business needs
  • Translating complex market dynamics, syndicated data, and customer trends into scalable, self-service insights through intuitive dashboards and AI-enabled experiences that drive adoption and decision-making across the enterprise
  • Supporting syndicated data strategy through vendor evaluations, governance processes, and execution of data partnerships and contracts.
  • Establishing and maintaining share data governance standards, business definitions, and hierarchies to improve consistency and scalability across the enterprise 

What you'll bring:
  • Deep expertise in syndicated data, market intelligence, and external data ecosystems.
  • Experience evaluating third-party data providers and executing contracts and governance processes.
  • Strong business acumen with experience delivering strategic analyses, reporting solutions, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success working across Business, Product, Technology, and Analytics teams to deliver scalable data and reporting solutions.
  • An agile, curious, and self-motivated mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Market Research, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, analytics, data products, customer insights, management consulting, retail strategy, or related disciplines. MBA preferred.
