Job description

Technical Source is currently in search of a Maintenance Planner for a services firm that supports the pharmaceutical industry in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area. This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity that requires on-site work. Qualified candidates for this position should have experience developing/coordinating maintenance plans and preparing work packages.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner include:

  • Develop and coordinate maintenance plans, schedules, and work orders
  • Prepare technician work packages with procedures, parts, tools, and permits
  • Manage equipment data and maintenance history using SAP, CMMS, or EAM systems
  • Coordinate cross-functional tasks to reduce downtime
  • Track and analyze maintenance KPIs and recurring failures

Qualifications of the Maintenance Planner include:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Background in preventive and corrective maintenance planning
