OVERVIEW
The Logistics Specialist will work as a member of the Corporate Logistics Optimization team to provide support to both the shared services and logistics operations teams. This will include but not limited to working with other departments within the organization, analysis and report presentation of relevant data, SOP generation and compliance monitoring, and performance management of top carriers and customer accounts. The Specialist will serve as a global administrator of the Transportation Management System (TMS) and must become a subject matter expert in all relevant technical solutions and the order to cash process.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carrier Management as it pertains to key customer accounts, to include daily performance monitoring, weekly results monitoring and reporting to organization
  • Product Management: Work as a system administrator within e2open Transportation Management System and Shippeo (Real-time tracking). Support Logistics processes in SAP
  • Project Management: Lead projects for Logistics and/or GSC being subject matter expert in Order to Cash and Customer Fulfilment processes
  • Track and Report on compliance to processes tied to the TMS
  • KPI analysis and report preparation for disbursement to organization
  • Support of Logistics Operations and carrier administration teams
  • Manage customer freight rates by providing accurate and timely freight quotes to support sales team pricing and customer opportunities. Including monitoring, supporting and reporting on Freight Profitability.
  • Manage the TMS integration errors by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving IDoc integration issues between SAP and the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop business requirements documentation (BRDs), collaborating with IT teams to implement system and process enhancements
  • Execute end to end testing of SAP orders and system integrations for IT projects, ensuring accurate data flow and functionality between SAP and TMS systems

WORK EXPERIENCES
