Role Overview
Aquent is seeking a seasoned Associate Creative Director (Bilingual Spanish/English) to lead creative vision, project origination, and localization strategy for a globally recognized, category-defining tech brand. This is a senior leadership role designed for an established ACD who can guide an existing team of talented writers, drive original creative concepts for the US Hispanic market, and serve as the primary strategic creative voice with global Brand and Strategy leads.
What You'll Do
  • Creative Leadership & Strategy: Lead, direct, and elevate an established team of bilingual writers and editors, establishing the bar for creative excellence across all US Hispanic initiatives.
  • Origination & High-Stakes Localization: Drive original campaign concepts from scratch while overseeing critical, high-profile transcreation and localization projects.
  • Stakeholder & Client Relations: Serve as the senior creative partner to executive cross-functional teams (Brand, Strategy, Creative), articulating decisions and defending creative work.
  • Cultural Authority: Act as the subject matter expert on the evolving US Hispanic demographic-spanning Gen Z bilinguals to Spanish-dominant households-ensuring all work resonates with deep cultural precision.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Proven ACD Experience: Held an Associate Creative Director (or equivalent Senior Creative Lead) role within a major advertising agency or top-tier global brand.
  • Track Record of Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience directing writers, making high-level creative calls, and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Tier-1 Portfolio: A body of work showcasing high-concept campaign origination, cultural adaptation, and elite copywriting/transcreation for major brands.
  • Native Bilingual & Bicultural Proficiency: Complete fluency in US Spanish and English, with deep lived insight into regional linguistic nuances and acculturation levels.
