LiveLike is on a mission to reform the live online engagement experience and empower the digital audience via interactive community-building tools. We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions.
As a Senior SDET Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that our software meets high standards of quality. Most importantly, you have a positive "can-do" attitude and a passion for delivering technical solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Test Execution: Execute test cases and perform manual testing to identify bugs and ensure the software meets specified requirements.
Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Defect Tracking: Report and track defects using [specific tools, e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.], and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Test Planning: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaboration: Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand the application's functionality and design effective test strategies.
Documentation: Document test results and provide detailed feedback to the development team to support issue resolution and software improvements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
OUR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in QA or software testing, with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies.
Experience with manual testing and some exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is an advantage.
