Position:ย 7th Grade Science Teacher

Qualifications:

  • CT 034 General Science Certification - Grades 4-12 required
  • Knowledge ofย  NGSS preferred
  • Teaching experience in both MS and HS beneficial

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • Dedication to professional learning, development, and growth
  • Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
  • High level of personal organization and planning.
  • Maturity, humility, strong work ethic, follow-through, sense of humor, and strong sense to collaborate with the middle school grade level team and English department.
  • Mastery of and enthusiasm for subject matter.
  • Willingness to teach new course offerings and aid in the development of 7-12 offerings for the school.

The Gilbert School is a progressive, educational community for grades 7-12 with a growing international boarding program. We are hiring a dynamic, energetic, compassionate and technologically-aware middle school English Teacher. The ideal candidate would be well-rounded academically and be able to formulate strong relationships with students, parents, and the educational community. A strong background in reading and writing instruction and the ability to teach students of all levels is ideal.ย ย
