$90000 - $100000 based on experience plus bonus.

Position - Senior Manager of Leaning and Development
The Senior Manager of Learning and Development plays a key role in Urban Plates' ongoing growth and expansion. This position will collaborate with Operations to develop, build, and manage the learning functions for Urban Plates. This position focuses on the continuous development, management and improvement of training programs, systems, and processes for Team Members and Managers using an array of creative approaches and technology (LMS) which drive employee engagement, productivity, and innovation.
Skills and Qualifications -
  • At least 3 years Instructional Design, LMS administration, Field Training, and/ or Training Administration or related field experience preferably with restaurant, retail, or consumer products organizations.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Desktop Publishing software, and E-Learning authoring software (Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, Wisetail, etc).
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent facilitation/presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence across a diverse set of styles, functions and geographies. Excellent planning skills to provide advice and recommendations to support best in class culture. Thorough understanding of training processes.
  • Self-motivated, personable, and strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively build and establish strong relationships with all departments. Proven ability to facilitate timelines and deliverables for effective implementation of project goals.
  • Able to work on-site in our Solana Beach restaurant Support Center and in the field in a restaurant environment.
