Business Development Manager (BDM)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a remote Business Development Manager (BDM) that will be responsible for the growth of CloudHesive's cloud business in the public sector (Fed, SLED, higher education, tech ed, and non-profits). This role is key to developing and executing public sector go-to-market strategies. In this role, you will wear multiple hats including, uncovering new opportunities directly with customers, partners, and AWS account teams to manage pipeline progression across markets. The BDM will be encouraged to build and implement well-defined account plans and drive success in the following areas: account planning, pipeline development, presentation and delivery, funding and AWS process management, pricing, negotiation, and the close process.

What You'll Be Doing

Co-create market and vendor aligned strategies to expand public sector market share (Fed, SLED, higher education, tech ed, and non-profits) Strategic market coverage of Florida and other US markets that are key to the growth of the public sector business Manage strategic opportunities with the account owner to provide senior level guidance to secure key relationships & opportunity wins Consult partners on strategic contract acquisition/usage for our top cloud vendors. AWS and Microsoft. Consult partners and top cloud vendors on public sector market opportunities (solicitations/RFQ's/RFI's/quotes) available through our partners, tools and direct sales Attend marketing events and conferences important to public sector strategy and execution Work and engage with our core public sector team to ensure we leverage all public sector tools and resources available to our cloud organization and drive for successful achievement of program goals Assist in developing sales pipeline and closing public sector deals. Provide contract capture assistance on public sector opportunities

Is This Role For You?

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred. Must be comfortable and articulate in client-facing solution selling in hunter and farming roles Prior experience in selling managed services or cloud/hybrid services Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills a must Must be knowledgeable with the following technologies: Amazon Web Services and/or other cloud technologies; Contact center and unified communications; Virtualization technologies; Managed services Security solution selling a plus CRM experience, Microsoft Office and LinkedIn tools Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure Experience using ZoomInfo or other research tools 10% travel Eastern U.S.
