Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to lead daily lab operations for a team of four (4) employees and partners closely with onsite LabCorp phlebotomy staff while supporting testing and quality oversight. This role balances team leadership, compliance, and workflow management in a fast-paced oncology practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a lead technologist or emerging supervisor ready to take the next step, or an experienced supervisor seeking a more collaborative, specialty-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day laboratory operations, staffing, and workflow coordination
  • Supervise, coach, and develop lab team members
  • Ensure quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance (CLIA, OSHA, state requirements)
  • Support and perform laboratory testing as needed
  • Oversee test accuracy, reporting, and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with providers and cross-functional teams to support patient care
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation standards
  • Assist with inventory, equipment evaluation, and operational improvements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years laboratory experience preferred, including prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • ASCP or equivalent certification required.
  • Current state licensure as required.
