  • Stage and issue materials to work orders.
  • Monitor work in process and identify shortages, delays, or bottlenecks.
  • Work with Finance and Accounting to reconcile inventory and production records.
  • Investigate discrepancies involving labor hours, material usage, scrap, inventory, work orders, and job costs.
  • Compare ERP records with actual production-floor activity and physical inventory.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete ERP transactions and help prevent recurring errors.
  • Review open work orders and ensure materials, labor, quantities, and completion information are reported correctly.
  • Assist Finance with month-end inventory reconciliation and work-in-process reporting.
  • Identify the causes of cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, engineering, shipping, finance, and management.
  • Enforce safety, housekeeping, quality, and company procedures.
  • Train employees on inventory, timekeeping, workflow, and ERP procedures.
  • Report attendance, inventory, workflow, financial, and employee-performance concerns to management.
Qualifications
  • Inventory-control, production-control, or manufacturing experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
  • Experience managing employee attendance, productivity, and daily assignments.
  • Knowledge of BOMs, work orders, inventory transactions, and job costing.

  • Ability to spend most of the shift walking and working on the production floor.
  • Ability to hold employees accountable professionally and consistently.

Preferred Experience
