Job description

Perfection Servo, a SunSource company, specializes in providing worldwide service, repair and remanufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries. www.perfectionservo.com 

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for entering all inventory into the computer system along with the price and quantity on-hand.  He/She is also responsible for pulling inventory for approved jobs prior to purchasing.
Essential Functions
  • Bar codes hydraulic parts for inventory
  • Oversees that all electronics and hydraulics inventory is being received and entered into the computer system correctly
  • Oversees that all regular and surplus electronic and hydraulics parts are put into inventory in a neat and efficient manner and ensures that the inventory areas are clean and organized.
  • Verifies hydraulic surplus model numbers and tags units with model number and cost
  • Add and remove all surplus inventory as being received or removed
  • Shrink wraps inventory as necessary
  • Understands how to check-in incoming parts and distribute them to the technicians
  • Pulls jobs and delivers to technicians as needed
  • Runs surplus/jobs back and forth between buildings
  • Shelves and scans jobs into storage locations
  • Maintains that 1211 location and the backroom are kept neat, clean and organized
  • Identifies surplus parts as to good/bad
  • Identifies surplus part numbers
  • Assists Inventory Control Manager with listing, selling, buying and maintaining Perfection's eBay store
  • Assists with scrap and RUR (return unrepaired) jobs
  • Assists outside auditors in conducting inventory audits
  • Assists remote facilities with inventory as needed
  • Serves as part time driver as needed
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion

  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, management, vendors, suppliers, and others in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to use a fork lift
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
