We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the accounting function and working closely with operations, sales, and management.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and providing meaningful financial information that helps drive business growth.

Strong English communication skills are essential, as this role requires regular interaction with customers, vendors, management, and internal team members.


Key Responsibilities

Full Cycle Accounting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities for a product development and distribution business
  • Maintain the SAGE 50 accounting system, including customer, vendor, and inventory records
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare vendor payments, reconcile vendor statements, and manage customer invoicing and collections
  • Record deposits and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Post journal entries and assist with month-end reporting activities
  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
  • Monitor daily financial transactions and identify discrepancies
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
  • Support management with financial reporting and analysis
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as required

  • Hands-on experience with SAGE 50 (strongly preferred) or QuickBooks
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis
  • Experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or inventory-based businesses
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience supporting payroll processing
  • Pursuing or holding an accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CMA, or equivalent)
