Hampton VA Medical Center

Federal Contract / Long-Term Opportunity

Actively seeking experienced Anesthesiology Physicians to support a federal healthcare contract at the prestigious Hampton VA Medical Center. This is an immediate and high-priority need supporting our nationโ€™s Veterans within a collaborative and mission-driven healthcare environment. This opportunity offers long-term stability, excellent compensation, and the chance to provide high-quality anesthesia services in a respected VA medical system.

Schedule: Daytime clinical coverage + night home call rotation

Responsibilities:

Physicians will provide comprehensive anesthesiology services to eligible Veterans in accordance with current national standards and VA guidelines. Services will be performed within a state-of-the-art healthcare environment and include:

  • Pre-operative patient evaluations
  • Administration and monitoring of anesthesia
  • Intraoperative anesthetic management
  • Post-anesthesia care and pain management
  • Emergency response and airway management
  • Collaboration with surgical and interdisciplinary teams
  • Documentation and compliance with VA standards of care

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Active, unrestricted medical license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current ATLS certification
  • Recent clinical experience within the last 6 months
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
  • Ability to obtain VA credentialing and privileging
