This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. Strong foundation in Industrial Engineering fundamentals (Production Intervals, Cycle Time, Takt Time, Standard Hour Content, Time Studies, EVMS, Continuous Improvement, Scheduling, Capacity Analysis, Facility Layouts) Responsible for tracking lab hardware deliveries and maintaining detailed schedules and metrics to report status to upper leadership Develop and maintain SQDEC (Schedule, Quality, Delivery, Employee, Cost) Boards with various metrics on a daily basis. Understand principles of capacity (efficiencies, standards, constraints, etc.) Knowledge of manufacturing flows and how they interface with shop floor and Global Supply Chain Understand labor standard development and work measurement

Create standard hour content for new scope. Perform shop floor time studies on manufacturing and test activities. Work with functional team to understand scheduling requirements at implementation sites Ability to create detailed manufacturing waterfall schedules with setbacks to independent demands Utilize process improvement methodology (e.g., value stream mapping, employee engagement techniques, flow reduction, etc.) Design and optimize Shop Floor/Facility Layouts Understand principals of cost management (Earned Value, Milestone payments) Conduct Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRAs) with Suppliers Engage and collaborate with various product teams and functional organizations (from individual contributors to executive staff) to obtain, understand, and interpret manufacturing facilitation and scheduling requirements Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution Utilize your strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills and the ability to work as a team member and with other members from different technical backgrounds Ability to coordinate with larger teams at different site locations Create and present technical briefings for upper management and technical leadership Position Benefits: As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: - Medical, Dental & Vision coverage - 401k - Educational Assistance - Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions - Paid Time Off - Health & Wellness Resources - Employee Discounts This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Citizen with the ability to obtain an interim Secret Security level clearance pre-start, with the ability to obtain a final Secret Security level clearance post-start within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need. Experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, production planning, or proposal estimating in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing.

Experience developing bases of estimate, labor estimates, staffing plans, capacity models, or proposal inputs. Strong Excel modeling, presentation, and written communication skills. Working knowledge of manufacturing flow, production scheduling, capacity, and how shop floor execution interfaces with supply chain and quality.

Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (Interim) security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience working in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) phase of a program Experience working in a lab and test environment Knowledge of SAP, MES, AutoCad, and FlexSim (or other discrete simulation programs) tools and concepts Ability to create and automate Industrial Engineering performance metrics Experience with Project Management and manufacturing schedules Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint, and Visio Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
