Project CoordinatorPosition Overview

CP Build is a leading interior finishes contractor serving projects throughout the United States. We partner with general contractors, owners, and construction teams to deliver high-quality finish solutions on some of the most complex and demanding projects in the market.

This role supports flooring projects from start to finish by managing materials, tracking timelines, coordinating vendors, and ensuring projects stay organized and on schedule. Success in this position comes from attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a deep understanding of flooring project administration.

Please note: We are considering candidates with a minimum of three (3) years of flooring administrative project coordination experience. Candidates without direct flooring experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage flooring product submittals.
  • Track submittal approvals and proactively follow up to keep projects moving.
  • Order and track flooring materials based on project schedules and installation requirements.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding lead times, production schedules, and delivery dates.
  • Coordinate material deliveries to align with project milestones and installation schedules.
  • Monitor project timelines and identify potential scheduling or material issues.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure accurate records.
  • Provide regular project status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project managers, vendors, installers, and internal teams to support successful project execution.
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative, project coordination, project support, or scheduling experience within the flooring industry.
  • Experience coordinating flooring materials, orders, deliveries, and project schedules.
  • Experience working directly with flooring vendors, suppliers, installers, or project teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting multifamily, commercial, hospitality, senior living, student housing, or similar construction projects.
  • Experience with flooring submittals, material takeoffs, procurement, and logistics coordination.
  • Experience working for a flooring contractor, flooring distributor, or interior finishes subcontractor.
