Description
The Purpose
The Intake Specialist for Adult Education and Literacy is responsible for the new student intake process and assessment for all Adult Education and Literacy programs.

Examples of Duties
What You'll be Doing
  • Schedule assessment sessions
  • Assign student assessments in the assessment platform
  • Administer paperwork and online or paper assessments
  • Enter student information into the data management system
  • Run and distribute monthly reports
  • Run one morning and one evening assessment session per week
  • Participate in state or locally mandated assessment trainings
  • Maintain the technical competencies necessary to the job function
  • Ensure compliance with policies of the National Reporting System, College, NC Community College System, and applicable State and Federal agencies

Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Must be willing to work one evening per week

Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalency.
Experience
Technology proficiency and data management skills required. All applicants must provide verifiable and relevant professional experience in a work-place setting or environment.
