The GCC Manager - Intake, Transition & Organizational Change Management (OCM) is responsible for leading the end-to-end lifecycle of new capability onboarding into the Global Capability Center (GCC). This role oversees demand intake, business case development, transition execution, stakeholder alignment, organizational readiness, and change adoption to ensure seamless migration of processes, services, and teams into the GCC.
The role serves as the primary liaison between business functions, retained organizations, GCC operations, HR, IT, and external partners to drive successful transitions while minimizing operational risk and maximizing business value. The position is accountable for ensuring that people, process, technology, and governance components are effectively integrated and that organizational changes are adopted and sustained.
Accountabilities
1. Intake & Demand Management
  • Lead the intake and evaluation process for new capabilities, services, and functions proposed for GCC delivery.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess operational, financial, and strategic opportunities.
  • Support development of business cases in partnership with Finance organization, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, productivity opportunities, and transition investment requirements.
  • Facilitate prioritization decisions based on business value, capacity, risk, and strategic alignment.
  • Govern the intake pipeline and maintain visibility of future transition opportunities.
  • Present recommendations and proposals to executive leadership and governance committees.

2. Transition Management
  • Lead end-to-end transition programs from planning through stabilization and hypercare.
  • Develop and manage detailed transition plans, milestones, resource requirements, and dependency tracking.
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer activities, process documentation, SOP development, competency testing, and operating model design.
  • Establish transition governance, RAID management, readiness assessments, and stage-gate reviews.
  • Partner with business, IT, HR, Legal, Compliance, and external service providers to ensure successful execution.
  • Drive service readiness and operational acceptance prior to go-live: ensure the GCC environment is ready for "Day 1" (IT access, seating, security protocols, and cultural onboarding).
  • Monitor transition KPIs and ensure achievement of project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

3. Organizational Change Management (OCM)
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies supporting GCC transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and readiness evaluations.
  • Design and implement communication, engagement, training, and adoption plans.
  • Establish change champion networks and leadership engagement programs.
  • Manage organizational resistance and facilitate change adoption across impacted functions.
  • Support the evolution of retained organizations toward governance, oversight, and value-added responsibilities.
  • Measure adoption, organizational readiness, and business outcomes post-transition.

Minimum Education & Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Experience
  • 8-12+ years of experience in shared services, GCC operations, business transformation, consulting, PMO, or change management.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale transitions, outsourcing engagements, or capability migrations.
  • Demonstrated success managing organizational change programs in global and matrixed environments.
  • Experience preparing executive presentations, business cases, and governance materials.
