Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager Insurance

Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Senior Manager Insurance (multiple positions) in New York, NY to provide innovative insurance advisory services and technology transformation solutions in Insurance domain technology products to clients to improve and optimize their business operations using predictive insights, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. Analyze business needs, define detailed requirements, validate proposed solutions/approaches with the business community, and recommend potential alternatives after evaluating business and technical considerations. Conduct workshops to elicit business requirements primarily with Insurance domain and ability as part of client initiatives to transform their Information Technology (IT) landscape, which includes major functions such as Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Billing, Third Party Client relationships, and others. Conduct business requirement analysis, including identifying current business processes related to digital insurance and technology transformation and insurance operations and create an “As-Is” process map and a "To-Be" process flow as per the proposed solution leveraging technology expertise and demonstrating product vision. Employ Digital Strategy, Disruptive Insurance Business Models, IT Strategy, Customer Experience, Target Operating Model, Digital Transformation, Change Management, Intelligent Process Automation and custom/bespoke applications. Serve as liaison between Business and IT teams as a techno-functional expert during the entire lifecycle of IT implementation which encompasses requirements, testing, deployment, and business sign-offs. Drive continuous process Improvement and optimize Target Operating Model using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Create transformative solutions by leveraging competencies in Marketing and Sales, Distribution, Enrollment, Policy/Underwriting, Rating/Pricing, Billing and Finance, Claims, and Regulatory Reporting. Employ tools and technologies, such as Digital and Cloud Solutions, RPA, AI, Mobile Applications and Portals, Salesforce, Core Systems (Guidewire, CSC), Micro Services Architecture, Business Analytics, Data Strategy and Implementation, and Legacy Modernization. Work closely with sales teams, various service lines, and leadership teams to provide consulting depth to clients in their efforts to improve, optimize, and transform their insurance operations and processes. Lead teams split across multiple geographies and time zones.

Education – Position requires a Master’s degree in a Business Administration, Management, Information Systems or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or related field and five (5) years progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s experience in the job offered or a related occupation is acceptable. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in New York, NY with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with no additional travel required. $150,550- $158,077 per year.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
