Job description

Job Summary: Assists the Project Manager with project status reports, project schedules and project setup.Performs analysis of resources' costs to ensure costs are applied appropriately to a project and research corrections if applicable. Ensures project related activities across the organization are accurately documented and tracked in the project plan.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a formal project plan by participating in scope definition and requirements gathering meetings - taking notes, task definition, understanding of dependencies.
  • Assist with the prioritization and management of project tasks based on their impact to the project and ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development and distribution of detailed project status reports- including entry and communication of any project updates.
  • Proactively monitor project KPIs including budget, % complete, and timing of all initiatives and if anything starts to diverge from plan, alert manager to discuss correction procedures.
  • Plan and facilitate effective meetings with project stakeholders
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards
Previous Work Experience & Education:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in field
  • Overall experience required- 0 to 2 years
  • Certification preferred: Certified Project Manager or Project Management Professional
  • Intermediate skillset minimum in Microsoft Office Suite: Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, & SharePoint.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
