Job description

About the Company

General Matter is enriching uranium in America.

Our goal is to design, build, and operate the world's lowest-cost enrichment services in the United States.

Our mission is to restore America's ability to produce nuclear fuel-fuel that will power AI, advanced manufacturing, critical industries, and the next generation of nuclear reactors.

Ultimately, our work will help power national ambitions and enable a high-energy society.

We were incubated by Founders Fund, like Anduril and Palantir before us, and are backed by top-tier investors. Our lean, world-class team of engineers and operators is applying a first-principles approach to solving the problem of nuclear fuel production.

We are a mission-driven company with a culture of urgency, accountability, and transparency.

Help us build a high-energy society by making the cleanest, safest form of baseload energy the most affordable.

About This Role

As the ERP Manager, you will lead the selection, implementation, and long-term management of the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform from the ground up. As an early-stage company with limited ERP infrastructure, this role will be responsible for evaluating business requirements, identifying ERP solutions, and driving the end-to-end implementation across manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, procurement, finance, quality, and operations.

You will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Engineering, IT, and leadership teams to build scalable business systems and processes that support rapid company growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end ERP strategy, selection, implementation, and ongoing administration for the company.
  • Evaluate ERP vendors and solutions based on operational, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality, and reporting requirements.
  • Drive ERP implementation planning, including business process mapping, system configuration, testing, data migration, training, and go-live execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, finance, quality, and engineering to define system requirements and workflows.
  • Design scalable processes supporting inventory management, production planning, purchasing, warehouse operations, supplier management, and financial operations.
  • Manage ERP integrations with adjacent systems such as MES, QMS, PLM, procurement, reporting, HRIS, and collaboration tools.
  • Establish ERP governance, master data standards, user roles, permissions, and change management processes.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Support reporting, analytics, dashboards, and KPI development across operational and financial functions.
  • Coordinate with external implementation partners, consultants, and software vendors.
  • Provide ongoing ERP administration, troubleshooting, user support, and enhancement management after implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience managing, implementing, or administering ERP systems in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments.
  • Experience leading full-cycle ERP implementations, including vendor selection, system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, inventory, procurement, production planning, and finance workflows.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor, or similar.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience implementing ERP systems in early-stage or high-growth manufacturing companies.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing and hardware operations.
  • Experience with MES, QMS, PLM, procurement, warehouse, or supply chain systems.
  • Experience with ERP integrations and middleware tools.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, medical device, or automotive.
  • Relevant ERP, PMP, or supply chain certifications.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
