Job description

The community of Waynesboro, Virginia has shown continuous love and support since the opening of Royal India Palace. We love contributing and pride ourselves on quality service. We are looking for a full-time experienced bartender looking to start in late August.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision.
  • Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Assist in training new team members on POS systems, beverage preparation, and service protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of POS systems, experience with cashiering and processing cash transactions.
