As Manager, Sales, you will play a pivotal role for Alfred by leading a team of Account Executives (AEs), while directly managing your own book of business. This player-coach role blends sales leadership, strategy, and execution. You'll drive increased revenues and market share for our products through the retail and wholesale channels-while coaching your team to do the same.

  • Strategic Collaboration - Provide support and guidance to Alfred Customer Services and MakeMusic Studio teams, partnering closely with sales leadership on strategic goals. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing and Product to align GTM initiatives.
  • Market Focus - Develop and execute sales strategies that align with Alfred's ICP and K-12 and private music education markets, positioning the platforms as essential for student and educator success.
  • Process Improvement - Refine sales playbooks, cadences, and reporting to drive consistency, efficiency, and accountability. Leverage data to improve sales cycle length, conversion rates, and territory performance.
  • Player-Coach Role - Balance leadership duties with hands-on work by owning and closing your own book of business. Step into customer and prospect conversations as needed to support your team and model best-in-class sales practices.
  • Operational Excellence - Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of pipeline, activities, and performance metrics using HubSpot (or equivalent CRM). Use data to inform team priorities and strategy.
  • Proactive Prospecting - Proactively engage with wholesale prospects to expand Alfred's footprint and identify opportunities for new sales and cross-sell into MakeMusic Studio.
