Title:Manager in TrainingJob Description:

SBM's Manager-in-Training (MIT) is a rigorous 9-week program built to develop emerging leaders through on-the-job training and structured professional development.

What You'll Gain:

  • Structured virtual learning and in-person mentorship to accelerate leadership growth

  • On-site operations training across SBM's core business operations

  • Direct mentorship with site leadership, safety, and client operations

Core Skills Developed:

  • Team development and performance management

  • Client engagement and relationship management

  • Safety program management

Graduates leave with a strong operational foundation, enhanced leadership abilities, and the confidence to drive performance across SBM sites.

Candidates must be able to relocate following program completion. Comprehensive relocation assistance provided.

Shift: Days-Variable, weekends/holidays- on call

Compensation: $80,168.40

Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/ or Experience

A.A. Degree required in Business Management, or a related field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus

Bilingual a plus

May be required to have a valid driver's license.

Completed all safety and task training certification.

May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bilingual a plus

Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.

Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.

Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.

Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Skills.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
