Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join a rapidly growing organization with multiple active development projects and continued expansion plans. This individual will play a key leadership role within the accounting function, overseeing financial reporting across several entities and projects while helping drive operational and strategic initiatives throughout the business. The ideal Senior Accounting Manager will bring strong leadership, project-based accounting experience, and a long-term career mindset. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting and financial reporting processes for multiple entities and active development projects
  • Oversee month-end close activities, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations
  • Manage project draws and ensure accurate tracking of project-related financial activity
  • Prepare and present project progress reporting to leadership, investors, and lenders
  • Partner closely with ownership to support strategic planning and company growth initiatives
  • Coordinate with external accountants, financial institutions, investors, and other third-party stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, reporting requirements, and internal controls
  • Assist with process improvements and help build scalable accounting procedures to support continued growth
  • Mentor and support accounting staff while helping strengthen the overall accounting function

The ideal Senior Accounting Manager will preferably have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.


Other requirements for the Senior Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Experience managing accounting for multiple entities and/or development projects strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and project accounting
  • Experience working directly with lenders, investors, ownership groups, and outside accounting firms
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving growth environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
