Job description

Position Overview

Gray Matter Logic is seeking a driven Account Executive to identify and close net-new ERP transformation opportunities within our dedicated Acumatica practice. This role focuses on acquiring new customers through consultative sales engagements that combine Acumatica ERP software with implementation, consulting, and long-term support services.


As a platform-dedicated Account Executive, you will serve as Gray Matter Logic’s primary sales partner within the Acumatica ecosystem. This dedicated focus enables deep co-selling alignment with Acumatica’s direct sales force, joint pipeline development, and a seamless buying experience for customers evaluating Acumatica.

You will lead the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through solution development, proposal, negotiation, and contract execution, working closely with Gray Matter Logic solution architects, consultants, and Acumatica partner teams.


What You Will Do

  • Identify and pursue net-new Acumatica ERP opportunities across target verticals and geographies
  • Prospect organizations evaluating ERP modernization, replacement, or first-time ERP adoption
  • Build relationships with executive stakeholders including CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and operations leaders
  • Lead consultative, discovery-driven sales engagements from qualification through contract execution
  • Conduct workshops to understand business processes, operational challenges, and transformation goals
  • Position ERP solutions that improve financial visibility, operational control, and scalability
  • Develop proposals that include ERP implementation services, consulting, data migration, and ongoing support
  • Collaborate with delivery leadership to scope projects and align sales commitments with delivery expectations
  • Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, marketing campaigns, referrals, and partner collaboration
  • Serve as Gray Matter Logic’s dedicated sales partner to Acumatica’s direct sales force and channel team
  • Collaborate with Acumatica on joint pipeline development, account mapping, and opportunity pursuit
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting data, and CRM hygiene

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience selling ERP, enterprise software, or business applications
  • Proven track record generating net-new business and acquiring new customers
  • Experience selling complex solutions that include consulting or implementation services
  • Experience selling $500k+ software and services transactions
  • History of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets


Ideal Background
