Position Summary
BHI/IMAC Analysts create and implement activities associated with scheduling and installation of hardware changes to configuration, and de-installation and relocation of equipment, including connectivity testing, coordinating data transfer, and user orientation. BHI/IMAC Analysts are in a leadership role and perform project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of internal products or administrative systems. BHI/IMAC Analysts oversee plans, direct schedules, and project budgets, monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery, and interface with internal customers, external 3rd party vendors and department personnel. BHI/IMAC Analysts organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings, communicate effectively, and facilitate the completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
The position of IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) and New Warehouse Analyst will be directly involved with the success of Small MAC tasks, Tech Refreshes, and New Warehouse openings that require the deployment, coordination, and installation of hardware and infrastructure that support warehouse operations in the US and Canada. Focusing on project management, vendor and warehouse operator communications to update on task/project milestones. This role enforces and ensures our quality of standards are met for tasks/projects.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
  • Drives the execution of projects by interfacing with manufacturers, vendors, and other departments to develop configurations and create installation standards.
  • Manages project resources and provides daily direction to team members
  • Manages and maintains effective, positive partnerships with vendors, manufacturers, management, and stakeholders and serves as a subject matter expert for project related issues.
  • Manages clear and specific terms for project work, articulates technical infrastructure and components, and writes clear and effective communications.
  • Tracks, assesses, provides feedback, and delivers status reports on processes/projects before, during, and after the implementation of Costco's enterprise solutions and technologies.
  • Creates, documents, and maintains project standards, expectations, and team processes to drive efficiencies.
  • Manages and tracks project costs and resource allocation to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Reconciles and approves invoice payments.
  • Gathers and analyzes data to determine business needs, project requirements, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Creates and maintains the deployment schedule for equipment and/or infrastructure systems from inception to installation based on need, budget, bandwidth, and capabilities of support teams.
  • Manages the timeline during all stages of deployment (RFP's, PO Requests/Approvals, Hardware Procurement, etc.)
  • Identifies and ensures project tasks/issues are mitigated, resolved, and/or completed to stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ensures projects have the appropriate governance, management controls and practices (i.e. project, risk, quality, staffing, change, communication, financial, scope, schedule, cost, procurement, stakeholder, support, etc), and are operating as designed.
  • Executes and supervises installation of new or enhanced I.T. equipment and infrastructure systems at existing locations, new locations, closures and relocations in the United States and Canada; and facilitates overall coordination, supervises day-to-day tasks, and ensures the project is improving efficiencies, meeting goals and deadlines, and satisfying customers.
  • Identifies and resolves problems, often anticipating issues before they occur or before they grow; develops and evaluates options, implements solutions, and escalates when necessary.
  • Identifies opportunities for streamlining, and increasing effectiveness through continuous process improvement.
  • Defines actions or strategies that will elicit a desired behavior or response by a stakeholder.
  • Assesses progress on project and report status on a continual basis to update stakeholders.
  • Provides 24X7 second level support and assistance to vendor installers and end users.
  • Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications
Required:
  • Experience leading projects.
  • Good organizational, time, and project management skills.
  • Experience in AS400 devices and print queue creation and modification.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, POS hardware, Circuits, WiFi, Cabling and Electrical, iSeries, and Clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to assess the "big picture".
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills; self-motivated with the ability to motivate team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude; be flexible and adaptable to change; possess an excellent customer service ethic.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
