Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable IMAC Technician to support end-user computing environments. This role is responsible for the disconnection, relocation, reconnection, and setup of computer workstations, including new deployments and office moves. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disconnect and reconnect desktop and laptop workstations during office moves or reconfigurations
  • Set up new workstations, including computers, monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and peripherals
  • Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary
  • Ensure proper cable management and clean, professional workstation setups
  • Follow IMAC procedures, checklists, and documentation standards
  • Test equipment and confirm functionality before handoff to end users
  • Provide basic end-user support during workstation setup and transition
  • Adhere to safety guidelines, security policies, and company IT standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with workstation setup, hardware deployment, or desktop support
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, ports, cabling)
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (typically up to 40–50 lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions, processes, and timelines
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous IMAC, desktop support, or field technician experience
