About this position:

The Identity Access Professional is responsible for safeguarding organizational assets by managing and overseeing IAM systems. This position ensures the right individuals have appropriate access to technology resources (systems, applications, and data), thereby minimizing security risks and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Professional will design, implement, and maintain access controls policies and procedures that align with business objectives and security best practices. This role contributes to the organization’s overall cybersecurity position by ensuring robust identity governance and access management frameworks are in place and effectively managed. This position is 100% on-site in Glens Falls, NY.

Essential Job Functions:

> Enforce least privileged principles, role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-factor authentication (MFA)

> Configure and maintain IAM tools, including Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

> Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and internal security policies

> Investigate and resolve IAM-related security incidents and access issues

> Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions across enterprise systems

> Develop workflows to streamline provisioning and de-provisioning processes

> Conduct regular access reviews, generate compliance reports, and support audits by preparing IAM documentation and evidence

> Define, monitor, and report on IAM-related metrics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness and compliance

> Develop and manage dashboards that provide real-time visibility into access trends, incident response times, and audit readiness, ensuring actionable insights for stakeholders

Education/Certifications:

> Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

> 6+ years of experience in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Skills/Knowledge:

> Knowledge in software development, quality assurance, operational risk, or data analysis

> Knowledge of financial products and services preferred

> Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), and MFA

> Experience with IAM tools, CyberArk preferred

> Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to access management (SOX, HIPAA)

> Familiarity with cloud environments and IAM integration platforms

> Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable collaborating with co-workers, management, and vendors

> Strong project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities; demonstrated initiative, and ability to work independently with minimal instruction

> Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

> Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year commensurate with experience and education. Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s annual bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
