Job Description

The Coordinator Human Resources is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assistance and support to Human Resource team members such as the Employee Relations Manager, Human Resource Generalist, and Recruiters. This position will provide excellent Human Resources support to all associates.

What your day will look like:
  • Assists with various Human Resources and general office functions that require an understanding of Human Resources concepts and good business practices
  • Maintains the Identification badge system. Prints badges for new employees and replacement badges as needed
  • Assist associates with Electronic Self-Service transactions (ESS)
  • Responds to associate's inquiries regarding policies and Company programs
  • Maintain bulletin boards and government compliance postings
  • Submit announcements to be posted on the Employee Resource Center Page on Thursdays before 4 pm
  • Post announcements on Yammer on Friday mornings
  • Maintains personnel files and maintains current, accurate data in the Company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Review Payroll Tax Record reports to ensure proper entry on Mondays and Fridays, makes corrections as needed in the employee's record
  • Assists with the coordination and communication of associate events and Human Resources initiatives
  • Completes and forwards termination checklist to Employee Relations Manager for payout approval
  • Provides assistance to supervisors and managers for payroll changes
  • Reviews Exception Reports for attendance and
  • Leave of Absence purposes and check status in EC
  • Receives and reviews Leave of Absence emails from Employee Relations Manager and Voya.
  • Update leave cases in Workforce and attach documentation. Notify management for updates
  • Review Intermittent Leave Usage report from VOYA and send manager logged usage time for employees weekly
  • Records corrective actions, Performance improvement Plans and Power Industrial Equipment policy incidents in Success Factors
  • Updates associate driver's license and DOT medical expiration dates in Success Factors
  • Submits Live Positively/Wellness reimbursements quarterly
  • Maintains tuition reimbursement log, collect forms and submits to Employee Relations Manager to verify associate eligibility
  • Forwards garnishments to Payroll
  • Maintains available forms for associates, handles Human Resources equipment maintenance calls, orders supplies, compiles invoices for approval, coordinates Human Resources mail and distributes Beyond this Day memory boxes
  • Prints Drug Testing and Background Checks for New Hire and Rehire employee files
  • Compiles and forwards all DOT regulated documents to Risk Management
  • Creates Driver Files for New Hires, Rehires, and Organization Reassignments new to driving weekly and submits to Risk Management
  • Review Offer to Hire Tracker daily to ensure orientation scheduled in a timely manner
  • Initiates Onboarding, completes New Hire Data Review and assigns New Hire Tasks in Success Factors for those attending Orientation
  • Assists with orientation, prepares New Hire Orientation packets, submits New Hire reporting by state
  • Completes hire in Success Factors on day of orientation
  • Completes I-9s for New Hires and Rehires within 3 days of hire, inputs I-9 details and uploads supporting documents in Resident Status portlet
  • Updates Hiring Source portlet with details on recruiting source, if applicable
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; and 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of SAP Human Resources & Payroll systems preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trusting relationships
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability, customer service, initiative, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
