About the Position: An ideal candidate for the Senior Account Executive position will have a robust understanding of all ancillary products, leave management and extensive experience in a carrier or brokerage account management or service role. Working in tandem with the Sales team, this individual will help quarterback all large case service. This individual will also be responsible for all ongoing account management, renewal, and sold case implementation support on their assigned block of business. Attention to detail and effective prioritization are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the service relationship for large group clients, acting as the primary broker contact and internal quarterback.
  • Apply expertise in ancillary benefits, leave management, and carrier processes to resolve service inquiries, plan amendments, and carrier escalations.
  • Participate in discovery and finalist calls alongside the Sales Executive to support new business development.
  • Manage sold case implementation end to end, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to service.
  • Lead the renewal cycle, including benefit enhancements, carrier marketing, and add/issue opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records - service activity, renewal outcomes, and pipeline opportunities to keep cross-functional teams aligned.
  • Meet all established best practices and SLAs to deliver timely, quality service to broker partners.
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and with external broker and carrier partners.
  • Partner with Accounting to support accurate, on-time revenue collection.
  • Execute continuous improvement initiatives under strategic direction from leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5-10 years' experience in account management or service role within a carrier or brokerage organization
  • Understands ancillary products (dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental health) and comprehensive knowledge and curiosity for leave management
  • Holds active life, accident, and health license
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with organizational change
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Self-starter who excels with minimal oversight or direction
  • Adaptable and capable of balancing competing priorities
  • Strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn

Work Location: This is a 100% remote position working in your local time zone. Access to a local office may be available upon request.
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HAS and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, personal, floating holidays and company holidays. In addition, eligible annual bonuses, equity and commissions may be available for some positions.
