Job Title

Home Equity Loan Processor

Job Description

Processes home equity loans and lines of credit. This representative works closely with branches, borrowers, underwriters, and appraisers to facilitate the processing of the loan from initial setup to closing. The Home Equity Loan Processor determines documentation needed for loan approval and obtains and assembles the loan package for underwriting/loan approval. The Processor is required to know regulatory, credit union policy and underwriting requirements. Obtains information necessary to complete the loan application and supporting documents according to guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Obtains, assembles, reviews, researches, and prepares documents necessary to process home equity loans and final loan approvals.
  • Works closely with borrowers, underwriting and branches to resolve any issues and monitors promised closing dates to meet dates established.
  • Communicates with members throughout the loan process to resolve any loan issues.
  • Ensures home equity loan file meets underwriting, compliance and quality control standards.
  • Manages individual pipelines resulting in on-time closings for purchases and refinances.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years of related experience in consumer or mortgage lending, or equivalent combination of working experience/training.
Targeted Pay Range-

$19.90 - $24.62 based on qualifications and experience
