Tampnet is expanding its commercial team in the Gulf of America and is seeking a results-driven sales professional to help grow our presence in the offshore platform and maritime markets.
This position can be based along the Gulf Coast from Houston to New Orleans.

In this role, you will lead new business development end-to-end, build pipeline, engage technical and commercial decision-makers, and close connectivity and managed-services deals across the region. This position offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology while helping customers solve complex communications challenges in one of the world's most demanding environments.
Main responsibilities and tasks
  • Drive new-business development across offshore platform operators, maritime vessels, and drilling rigs
  • Position Tampnet's connectivity and managed-services portfolio against customer needs and competing solutions
  • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline against clear targets
  • Develop and deepen relationships across the Gulf of America offshore and maritime market
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams on coverage, deployment, and service planning
  • Forecast accurately and deliver against revenue and margin goals
  • Represent Tampnet at customer meetings, industry events, and site visits, including occasional travel to ports, customer facilities, and offshore locations.

Qualification requirements
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in offshore energy, telecommunications, satellite/VSAT, maritime services, or industrial connectivity
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with technical decision-makers
  • Working knowledge of connectivity technologies such as LTE/5G, SD-WAN, satellite, and managed network services
  • Established relationships in the Gulf of America offshore or maritime market (strongly preferred)
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
  • Ability to travel as needed throughout the Gulf Coast region, including occasional offshore visits
