Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Adaptable Life Counseling, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques tailored for each client.
  • Facilitating family therapy for issues including but not limited to substance abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.
  • Developing treatment plans that are personalized and reflective of each client's needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records using our advanced electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with all privacy regulations.
  • Regularly assessing client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans while providing constructive feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including couples, children, and adolescents facing a variety of challenges such as:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse.
  • Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
  • Managing grief and loss issues.
  • Navigating conflicts among family members and siblings.
  • Dealing with job-related stress and medical issues.
  • Adapting to separation and divorce.
  • Resolving father-daughter and mother-son relationship dynamics.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Colorado.
